Tri City Lawn Care

About Tri City Lawn Care

The name says three, and out here the three run together — Hesperia's mesas rolling north toward Victorville, east across the wash into Apple Valley, all of it under one enormous sky. Tri City Lawn Care works that stretch in the long light of late afternoon, when the wind comes pouring down out of Cajon Pass and the San Bernardinos stand blue-shadowed along the southern rim. Mowing in even back-and-forth rows, edging tight to the concrete, trimming around the block wall and the mailbox post, then the sweep-up, because a desert yard shows every stray blade. January mornings start with frost silvering the ryegrass and burn off by ten; July wants an early start and a deep drink; the schedule shifts to meet whichever one is standing at the door. Ranchero Road runs long and straight, and there is a plain satisfaction in looking back down a finished street at dusk and seeing the lawns squared away, one after another.
