About Trejo's Landscape Services

Hesperia wakes early out on the high desert, pale gold light coming up over the Mojave River bed while the air is still cool enough to work in. That is the hour Trejo's Landscape Services likes best: mower down before the heat lifts off the pavement, the first clean pass laid across a yard that has to earn its green out here. Grass in the Victor Valley is a small act of stubbornness, so it gets its due — edges cut true along the driveway, the trimmer squared off at the fence line, clippings gathered instead of left to drift toward the Joshua trees. By the time the afternoon wind rises and the ridgeline to the south goes hazy, the lawn is finished and the walk is swept clean. Over near Hesperia Lake Park the cottonwoods hold their shade all day, and a well-kept yard on a desert street does something like it — a green square of cool in a wide brown country. The aim never changes: leave the place looking cared for, and let the neighborhood notice without being told.
