About Pastrano's Landscaping

Out toward Valle Vista the streets run right up against the foothills, and in late summer the thunderheads pile over the mountains all afternoon and mostly keep their rain to themselves. Pastrano's Landscaping works those yards at the east end of Hemet — mowing, edging, trimming the fence lines, hauling off what comes out of the beds. Grass here grows in bursts and then holds still, so the visits are what keep a lawn even instead of ragged. The best part of the job is the last five minutes: the blower going, the concrete coming clean, the yard looking settled. Then on to the next street, and back again next week.
