About AM LANDSCAPING & GARDENING SERVICES

West of the freeway Hayward flattens and hands itself to the Bay, where the Regional Shoreline fills with tide and egrets long before the city is properly awake. AM Landscaping & Gardening Services keeps that kind of hour, unloading the mower while the marsh air is still cool and faintly salted. A lawn out on these flats has to stand up to salt wind and a long rainless stretch, so the work is patient rather than flashy — grass cut to an even height, edges drawn clean along the walk, cuttings swept off the concrete and carried away. There is real satisfaction in the last pass, when the lines run true and the border reads like it was drawn with a pencil. By the time the sun tops the eastern hills, the street smells of cut green and the yard looks like someone loves it.
