About Grants Landscaping

Hawthorne takes its rain in a handful of winter weeks, and the city answers immediately: by late January the lawns come up thick and impossibly green, growing faster than anyone planned for. Grants Landscaping meets that surge head-on, adding cuts when the grass demands them and keeping the borders from swallowing the sidewalk. Mowing, edging, string trimming, hedge and shrub shaping, and a full clearing of cuttings and storm-dropped leaves, that is the list, and it does not need to be longer. Come the dry months the same yards get held steady, cut a touch higher, tidy at every margin. What the owners see is simply this: a lawn that looks the same good way in February and in August. Grants works Hawthorne and out through Lawndale, Gardena and Torrance.
