Zaragoza's Lawn service

About Zaragoza's Lawn service

October is when Hanford's older streets start letting go — sycamore and sweetgum coming down in slow yellow batches, gathering along the gutters, filling the corners of every lawn by Friday. The mornings finally have a chill in them, which makes it a pleasure to be out early. Zaragoza's Lawn service rakes and blows and hauls through all of it, and the mower still goes out, because grass in this valley keeps growing long after the calendar suggests it shouldn't. The borders get recut, the beds cleared, the drive left bare down to the concrete. By the time the fog moves in for the winter, the yard is already put away neat.
