Pastorino Garden Service

About Pastorino Garden Service

Inland of town, where Pilarcitos Creek runs low and the sprout fields go on in dark rows, late-August afternoons carry dust and the smell of cut greens. Pastorino Garden Service keeps lawns going through that dry stretch — mowing at a height that shades its own roots, trimming the edges, feeding the turf and staying ahead of the weeds that move in when grass is stressed. This is farm ground turned into front yards, and it will raise a beautiful lawn for anyone willing to keep the schedule. Clippings cleared, borders cut, the walk swept at the end of the visit. By the time the rains return in November, the grass is in shape to take them.
