About Mr. Sprinkler

Watering in the San Gabriel Valley happens in the dark — before five, when pressure is up and the sun has not yet taken its share. Mr. Sprinkler is in the business of making that hour work correctly: heads replaced and aimed, broken laterals dug up and repaired, valves and controllers set so a yard drinks on a schedule instead of at random. A dry corner and a soggy one usually share one cause, and finding it is half the trade. Drip lines go in for beds and pots, spray goes where turf actually needs it, and the trench is backfilled until the lawn forgets it was ever opened. In a place where summer runs long and rain keeps its own calendar, a system that works is what keeps Hacienda Heights green.
