About Grass Rat Boys LLC

Guadalupe is a town of fog and thunder-colored dunes, pressed between the Santa Maria River and the tallest sand hills on the West Coast. Grass Rat Boys LLC cuts grass here, where the marine layer keeps lawns green with half the effort of towns twenty miles inland — but salt wind and sandy soil ask for their own kind of know-how. They mow, edge, and trim; they keep beds weeded and yards cleaned up through the mild coastal year. The train still rolls through town, the fog still burns off by noon, and somebody still has to make the front yards look sharp. That would be them.
