About Grimes Natural Landscaping

Winter mornings in Grimes often open inside a tule fog so dense the levee along the Sacramento vanishes a stone's throw away, and the only proof of the flooded rice fields is the clamor of geese overhead. As the fog thins, the Sutter Buttes surface across the valley to the east like islands rising out of milk. Grimes Natural Landscaping shapes lawns and landscapes in this small Colusa County river town, making yards that sit comfortably against all that flat, wet, bird-filled country. The aim is a landscape that looks like it belongs here, the grass cut clean and the plantings at ease. When the sun finally breaks through around noon, a freshly tended yard catches the light as if it had been waiting for it.
