About Sure Shot Forestry

By August the hills along Highway 49 have gone the color of straw, and the watered lawns of Grass Valley show green from a mile off. Sure Shot Forestry keeps those lawns in shape through the long dry stretch, cutting, trimming, edging, and carrying off the clippings before they can build up on the turf. The day starts early, while the air still holds the cool that slid down off the Sierra overnight. Nothing complicated about the work: an even cut, a tight edge, a yard that looks tended rather than merely mowed. Evening comes down and the grass smells like grass, which is most of the point.
