All Tree Service

About All Tree Service

Grass Valley smells like warm pine pitch by ten in the morning in July, up here at twenty-four hundred feet where ponderosa and cedar crowd right to the porch rail. All Tree Service works those crowded lots the way the country asks, pruning up the low limbs, trimming back what hangs over a roof, taking out the trees that have leaned too far toward a house. Around the old headframes at Empire Mine the second-growth forest came back thick, and most yards in town inherited some of it. Storm damage cleanup after a wet Sierra front has the way in open and the wood off the fence line by afternoon. There is real satisfaction in standing back at dusk and finding daylight and space where there had only been crowded green.
