About Anything Tree's

Highway 49 winds through Goodyears Bar on its way across the Sierra County mountains, and in October the roadside turns bright as bigleaf maples and black oaks go gold against the dark firs. Anything Tree's takes on lawn work in this high, narrow mountain community, where fall means leaves on every surface and a last stretch of growth before the cold. Mowing down the season's final growth, trimming the edges, and gathering up the fallen leaves leave each yard ready to rest through winter. The result is tidy ground under a blaze of color, the kind of autumn afternoon that makes a mountain home feel complete. In a place this rugged, a well-kept yard is a small, welcome order.
