Better Bandits

About Better Bandits

Come March, Lake Los Carneros runs loud with red-winged blackbirds and the cattails brighten at the edges, and every yard in Goleta seems to grow an inch overnight. Better Bandits meets that surge head-on — mowing on a rhythm the spring cannot outrun, edging the walks, cutting back shrubs that lean into paths. There is a plain pleasure in arriving at a lot gone shaggy and leaving it squared away by lunch. Green waste gets gathered rather than scattered, and the driveway gets a blow-down before the truck pulls away. Goleta grows fast; this is a crew that keeps pace with it.
