About Alpine Landscapes & Tree Services

East of town the Diablo Range goes tawny by June, valley oaks standing alone in the grass like punctuation in a long sentence. Alpine Landscapes & Tree Services works in that company — pruning and thinning canopies, taking down limbs that have outgrown their reach, clearing what comes out, and keeping lawns and beds cut and shaped underneath. A well-pruned oak looks like nothing was done to it, which is both the point and the difficulty. Yards on the Pacheco Pass side of Gilroy carry a lot of sun and a lot of wind, and the work is about giving trees and turf a fair chance at both. The reward is a property that looks open, tended and unbothered by August.
