About Steve's Tractor & Landscape

Out on the flat floor of the northern Sacramento Valley, Gerber wakes to a long view: orchards in rows, the freight line running through, and on clear days the volcanic bulk of Lassen Peak far off to the east. Steve's Tractor & Landscape works the lawns and yards of this small Tehama County town, where summer afternoons regularly climb past a hundred degrees and grass needs a steady hand to stay healthy. Mowing at a sensible height, edging along drives and fence lines, and clearing out dry growth before it piles up are all part of the job. A yard mowed square and swept clean still looks cool and kept when the valley heat settles in by midday. There is a farm-country pride in a property done that way.
