Sprinklers and Turf

About Sprinklers and Turf

By one o'clock in July the Corona sun is straight overhead and every lawn in the valley is asking for something. Sprinklers and Turf works the turf side of that equation — mowing at a height that lets grass shade its own roots, edging to a firm line, trimming the strips along the drive that scorch first. Around El Cerrito and the streets below Cresta Verde, an even, unbroken green is a real accomplishment in high summer, and it comes from regular cutting more than anything else. The satisfaction is standing back at the end of a hot visit and seeing one continuous surface, no ragged corners, no bare seams. That is the result worth driving across town for.
