Mow-N-Edge

About Mow-N-Edge

Every December the deodar cedars along Van Ness go up in lights and Old Fig Garden slows to a crawl just to look at itself. Underneath them the lawns hold their green while much of the valley sleeps, and Mow-N-Edge keeps those yards level through the cool months — cutting, edging, running the trimmer along low brick walls and wide old driveways. The name is the whole job, and the second half is where the pride lives: a border so cleanly defined it reads like a drawn line. Come spring the pace doubles, grass climbing after every rain, fence lines and mailbox posts trimmed back into shape. It is the kind of work you notice mostly by its absence.
