About SPR Landscaping

Morning reaches the Alameda Creek Trail before it reaches the driveways — a gray-blue light off the water, the willows going silver, the air still cool from the mouth of Niles Canyon. SPR Landscaping is out in it, mowing Fremont yards while the streets are quiet, then walking the edge along the sidewalk until the line is straight enough to sight down. Summer bleaches the hills above town to wheat, and a well-kept lawn becomes the one green thing on the block; when the winter rains come the grass wakes all at once and the mowing schedule tightens to keep pace. The care is in the small things here: no clippings left on the walk, a steady trim ring around the mailbox post, the narrow strip by the curb never skipped. By the time traffic thickens on Mission Boulevard, the yard is finished and the truck is two streets over.
