Fernando's Gardening

About Fernando's Gardening

Fog settles over Centerville some mornings and does not lift until nine, and the grass holds that damp just long enough to cut clean. Fernando's Gardening starts there: mowing, edging, trimming along the older fence lines where the shrubs want to lean into the walk. These are settled streets with settled gardens, so pruning is done to keep the shape someone chose decades ago rather than to impose a new one. Weeding, feeding, cleanups and mulch fill out the rest of the calendar, and the sprinklers get looked at before the dry months rather than during them. A finished yard here should look like nothing happened to it — only better.
