About Easystumps Tree Services Corp

The American River comes out green and cold below the dam at Folsom, and the blue oaks on the bluffs above it have long shaped themselves around that canyon wind. Easystumps Tree Services Corp works the neighborhoods on both sides, trimming oaks, ash and pines so they hold up through a valley summer and taking down what has outlived its spot. Then comes the part the name is built on: stump grinding, until the last knuckle of root is chips and the ground is level enough to lay sod over. There is real satisfaction in that, turning a scarred corner of a yard back into a plain, usable rectangle of grass. Come evening the light goes gold over Lake Natoma and the job looks like it was never there at all.
