Mowing Everyday

About Mowing Everyday

The name is the schedule. Mowing Everyday runs its route through Florence the way the neighborhood runs itself — daily, without fuss, in the flat honest light of the Los Angeles basin. August afternoons here shimmer off the asphalt, so the heavy work happens before lunch, and by evening the day's yards stand trimmed while the palms go dark against the sky. Every day on the mower builds a kind of fluency: which strip dries slow, which corner the sprinkler misses, where the crabgrass tries its luck. That knowledge shows up in the result — lawns around Florence, Walnut Park, and Huntington Park that look tended because they genuinely are, over and over again.
