Yancey's Lawn Care

About Yancey's Lawn Care

August pins the Vaca hills brown and the Twin Sisters stand hazy east of town, and holding a green lawn in Fairfield through a month like that takes attention more than luck. Yancey's Lawn Care gives it — cutting at a height that lets the turf shade its own roots, sharpening the line along walks and driveways, keeping the trimmer off the bark of young trees. Work starts early, before the valley heat comes up, and ends with the concrete swept of clippings and the load hauled out. Hedges get shaped, beds get weeded, and the dry back corners get the same minutes as the easy middle of the yard. Around Fairfield, Suisun City, Cordelia and out toward Dixon.
