Fairfax ends where the open ridgeline begins, and Natives for life takes its cues from that boundary — manzanita, ceanothus, yarrow, the plants that were thriving on these slopes long before there were fences. The work is building gardens that belong: native planting that asks little water of a dry Marin summer, and care that lets each species keep its own shape. A yard like this hums differently — more bees, more birds, less fuss. It suits a town that has always kept one foot on the trail. Based in Fairfax and serving the Ross Valley from San Anselmo to Woodacre, this is landscaping that leans toward the hills instead of away from them.
