Your Local Mow Man

About Your Local Mow Man

On a Saturday at first light Highway 101 through Eureka is nearly empty, gulls up over the bay, and the streets of Cutten and Myrtletown still asleep behind their hedges. Your Local Mow Man starts the route then, one yard at a time — mow, edge, trim the corners the deck cannot reach, blow the walks clean, and take the clippings along. Working solo means every lawn on the list gets the same pair of eyes week after week, and neighbors learn the sound of the truck coming up the block. By the time the coffee shops open, half a street has been cut. There is something plain and good about a lawn that is simply taken care of, week after week, without anyone having to ask twice.
