Puller's Lawn Care

About Puller's Lawn Care

Late on a summer afternoon the light comes sideways through the redwoods at Sequoia Park and the ferns beneath them glow as if lit from inside. Puller's Lawn Care spends those long hours out in Eureka's yards — mowing, edging, trimming around fences and mailboxes, shaping hedges, and raking down the needle drop the redwoods send onto every lawn in this town. Around here a lawn is really a clearing in a forest, and keeping it open takes steady returning. The last pass with the trimmer is the one that counts, when a border finally reads as a drawn line. The mower gets loaded at dusk and the yard is left square and quiet behind it.
