Fresh Roots Humboldt

About Fresh Roots Humboldt

At low tide the flats along Humboldt Bay open up silver and brown, egrets stalking the channels, and the winter light over Eureka comes in sideways for about two hours before it quits. Fresh Roots Humboldt works right through that season, when the grass slows but never stops and the rain keeps everything growing at the edges. They mow when the ground will take it, cut back the wet growth along fences and beds, clear sodden leaves out of the corners, and keep walk lines edged and defined. Then come the longer days, and the same yards go from kept to handsome. Working a place year round is how you learn it.
