About Van Slyke Landscape, Inc. (Design, Construction and Maintenance)

Walk the boardwalk across San Elijo Lagoon at high tide and you get the local lesson in one look: everything here is layered, and the layers take time. Van Slyke Landscape, Inc. works a yard the same way, across all three stages — drawing the design, building it out with grading, irrigation, hardscape and planting, then returning week after week to mow, edge, prune, feed and keep it. Carrying the whole arc means the maintenance crew inherits a garden built to be maintained, with room where roots will want room and water where it will be needed. Years on, the trees have shape, the beds have closed, and the lawn still holds its line at the walkway. That long view is the pleasure of the work.
