Rudy's Lawn Care/Landscape

About Rudy's Lawn Care/Landscape

By late October the valley oaks in Elk Grove Regional Park let go all at once, and every yard in town inherits the drift. Rudy's Lawn Care/Landscape works right through it — mowing while the grass grows slow and steady, raking and clearing the leaf fall, cutting back spent perennials, shaping shrubs before the rains arrive. Beds are weeded and re-edged so the lines survive the wet months, and the leaves gathered along the curb go out with the truck instead of into the gutter. There's a particular satisfaction in the last pass of a fall cleanup: the lawn suddenly wide and open again, the color gone from the grass but the shape of the yard handed back. Then the storms come and go, and by March the very same yards are green enough to need a weekly cut all over again.
