About J & R Lawn and Gardening Services

Fletcher Park fills up on a Sunday and the streets around it go quiet, which is a fine time to notice what one well-kept front yard does for a whole block. Lawn and gardening work here means the full loop — mowing to an even height, edging the walk and driveway, string trimming the corners a mower cannot reach, shaping hedges and shrubs, weeding beds, spreading mulch, planting, and hauling it all away. El Monte hands out plenty of growing weather, which is generous and relentless in equal measure. The mark of the job sits in the details: a hedge with flat sides, a bed with a defined line, grass that stops exactly where it should. Yards like that lift the ones next to them.
