Jouvay’s Lawn Care

About Jouvay’s Lawn Care

July in El Monte turns the middle of the day into something to work around, so the mowers run early and the shade gets used. Around Zamora Park the lawns are wide and flat and they show every line, which keeps the work honest — an even cut, a straight edge along the concrete, corners trimmed by hand, clippings gone before the truck pulls away. Hedge and shrub trimming, weeding and seasonal yard cleanups fill out the visit. Grass in this valley grows through months that would put it to sleep almost anywhere else, and staying ahead of it is the whole discipline. Nothing complicated about a good lawn; there is only doing it again, on time.
