About Barragan Landscaping

Come October the wind arrives out of the passes hot and dry, and every yard in El Monte inherits a week's worth of sycamore leaf off the San Gabriel River bottom. That is one of the seasons this outfit works for — cleanups after the Santa Anas, hedges brought back to shape, beds cleared down to bare, tidy soil. The rest of the calendar is the steady rhythm: mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and the small attentions a yard asks for quietly. There is real satisfaction in a driveway swept clear of debris and a lawn cut so evenly the light moves across it in one sheet. El Monte gets a lot of sun; this is about giving it something worth landing on.
