Alpha Lawn Care

About Alpha Lawn Care

The first sound on Garvey Avenue most mornings is a tailgate dropping. Before the traffic thickens, before the day's heat gets a foothold in the San Gabriel Valley, the mower is already running a straight line down somebody's front yard in El Monte. This is lawn care taken from the top each week — mow, edge, trim the fence line, shape the shrubs, sweep the concrete, haul the clippings — and the reward is a strip of green that looks deliberate. Winter is when the Bermuda goes gold and the rye comes up soft over it; summer asks for a taller cut and a patient eye on the dry corners. Either way the truck comes back, and the yard stays a yard.
