Brush Cutters and Mo'er

About Brush Cutters and Mo'er

By June the slopes toward Rattlesnake Mountain have gone the color of straw, and everything that shot up in February is standing dry against somebody's fence. Brush Cutters and Mo'er meets that head-on: overgrown lots knocked down, weeds cut back off structures and property lines, tall grass mowed to something a person can walk through. Regular yards get the same attention — mowing, string trimming along the hard edges, the drive blown clear before the truck pulls away. There is real satisfaction in the arithmetic of a lot that was chest-high at nine and open ground by two. In a valley that dries out early and stays that way, keeping growth short is its own kind of care.
