About Paysage, Inc.

Paysage is the French word for landscape, and the Eastern Goleta Valley gives the name plenty to live up to — old lemon-orchard flats turned to neighborhoods, creeks sliding down from the mountains, ocean light over everything. Paysage, Inc. maintains the valley's yards as compositions: lawn, border, hedge, and path kept in proportion to one another. The mowing is regular and exact; the edging follows every line the garden offers; cleanups arrive with the seasons' debris and leave with it. Foothill mornings here can be cool even in summer, and the crew likes the early start. What remains at day's end is a picture — which is, after all, the point of the name.
