Bushgardening

About Bushgardening

Summer mornings here come in sideways through Dublin Canyon, bay fog sliding east through the gap and burning off before the first sprinklers finish. Bushgardening works that early window — mower lines laid down while the grass is still cool, edges cut clean along the walk, clippings cleared before the heat leans in. There is a particular satisfaction in a lawn that looks deliberate at nine in the morning: striped, squared and quiet. The hills above the canyon go gold by June and stay that way, so a green yard beneath them is something a household chose and someone kept. Bushgardening keeps them, week after week, around Dublin and the neighboring Tri-Valley towns.
