About j&s landscape downey

By August the heat sits on Downey all day and the crape myrtles along the boulevards keep blooming anyway, hot pink against a sky bleached nearly white. j&s landscape downey plans around it — an early start, sharp blades, an even cut that leaves the turf enough leaf to shade its own roots. This was grove and dairy country before it was blocks and driveways, and something of that carries into the work: grass watched, edges held, walks swept, week in and week out. The best part is the last look back down a driveway, concrete clear, the line beside it straight as a chalk mark. Lawn care for Downey and the towns pressed up against it, through the long dry summer and everything that follows.
