All Gone and More

About All Gone and More

In June the jacarandas let go over Firestone Boulevard and the purple lands on every lawn and gutter between here and the river. Clearing it is honest work: mow, trim, rake the beds down, then load the green waste and take it with you so the curb is empty when the truck pulls off. All Gone and More keeps that rhythm across Downey and out into Paramount, Bellflower and Norwalk. An afternoon ends with cut grass, swept walks and a bed of open soil waiting on whatever comes next. Nothing left behind is the measure.
