About Snider Enterprises

In October, the first dry snow dusts the ridges above Dorrington and the whole Highway 4 corridor starts battening down. Snider Enterprises spends those weeks moving cabin to cabin — raking the deep needle fall, clearing brush back from decks and drives, giving the little mountain lawns their last clean cut before the cold takes over. Summer runs the other way: bright, brief, and busy, with meadow grass that grows like it knows its time is short. Between the two, the work is really about keeping each place open to its view of the pines. A cabin with a cleared yard and a swept approach feels awake, even when nobody's up the hill that week — and that feeling is what the crew leaves behind.
