Peffer's Tree Service

About Peffer's Tree Service

Up Highway 4 past Arnold the winters are the real article — snow stacking on cedar and sugar pine until something finally gives, and a deep stillness under the trees the morning after. Dorrington is cabin country close to the big trees, where a limb hanging over a roof is a question you settle before the first storm rather than after it. Peffer's Tree Service prunes and thins those crowns, trims back whatever overhangs a cabin or a turnaround, removes hazard trees while the weather still allows the work, and clears storm damage once the snow has done its worst. Come spring the melt uncovers everything the winter broke, and the cleanup season starts over again. There is a plain satisfaction in a mountain property left open — safe overhead, clear underfoot, ready for the next season either way.
