About Gastelum Tree and Landscaping

West of town the Vaca Mountains dry to gold by May and hold that color until the rains return, and the late afternoon light comes over them low and long across Dixon's yards. Gastelum Tree and Landscaping does its lawn work in that slanted hour when the heat finally lets go — mowing, edging, trimming, and hauling off the season's cleanup. A yard cut in evening light shows every stripe and every border, which is a good reason to be particular about both. The rhythm follows the valley: quick growth through the wet spring, a steadier pace in the long dry stretch, and a full reset when the weather turns. Dixon notices a well-kept front yard, and that is reason enough to take the extra pass.
