About Sierra Mountain Tree Service Inc.

On a July evening the foothill heat lets go slowly, pine sap goes sharp in the air, and the long grade climbing east holds the last of the light after Diamond Springs has already gone into shadow. Sierra Mountain Tree Service Inc. works the dry months with the deliberateness the season asks for — trimming limbs back from eaves and outbuildings, pruning to open a crowded stand, removing dead and dying trees while they can still be brought down under control, and clearing storm damage when a summer squall or a winter blow tears through a property. Ridge lots up here run to timber, and the difference between an orderly place and an overgrown one is a season's worth of attention. The finish matters as much as the felling: rounds stacked, brush chipped, the ground raked back to something you would walk across barefoot. That is how a job gets left in this county.
