About Down To Earth Landscaping

Late afternoon, the sun drops behind Las Trampas Ridge and the west side of Danville cools fast — a good hour to finish, water in, and let a cut lawn settle. Down To Earth Landscaping keeps to that end-of-day rhythm, mowing, trimming and clearing while red-tails ride the last thermals over the ridge. Landscape maintenance here means reading a Mediterranean year backwards: everything grows in the wet months, everything must be carried through the dry ones. Beds get weeded and refreshed, turf gets cut at a height that shades its own roots, and the yard is left tidy enough to enjoy from a back step. A place looked after this way stays green longer than its neighbors, and that is the whole reward.
