About Danville's Concrete & Masonry Co.

Mount Diablo throws its long shadow west over Danville at sunrise, and for an hour the lawns on that side of town hold the cool before the day takes it back. Danville's Concrete & Masonry Co. does lawn work in that window — mowing, edging along walks and drives, trimming the corners a mower cannot reach. Grass meeting hardscape is where a yard is judged: a wandering edge makes everything look unfinished, a true one makes the whole property sit square. So the line along the path gets cut deliberately, and the seam between turf and driveway comes out straight enough to sight down. When the mountain light finally spills across the valley floor, the yard is ready to be seen in it.
