About Terra Firma Turf

The morning after a rain, the flats out toward Victoria Boulevard smell like wet asphalt and wet grass at once, and the whole coast looks scrubbed. Terra Firma Turf treats that window as the best working time of the year — soil soft enough for aeration, roots ready for feeding, weeds easy to take out whole. Then it is back to the routine that actually makes a lawn: mowing at a consistent height, edging that leaves a defined line, trimming where machines run out of room. Thin areas get overseeded and coaxed back rather than written off. The payoff comes in July, when a lawn that was cared for in the wet months is still holding its color.
