About A1 Irrigation LLC

Cypress wakes under a low gray lid most mornings, the marine layer sliding in off the Pacific a few miles west and holding until the sun burns a hole in it around ten. That is the best hour to be kneeling in a valve box on a quiet street off Coyote Creek, listening for the hiss that says a line is losing water somewhere under the grass. A1 Irrigation LLC works that hidden half of a lawn — sprinkler heads set true, zones balanced, timers matched to the way this flat old dairy plain drinks — and then the visible half, mowed and edged clean along the walk. On a town built without a single hill, everything reads level, so a straight cut line and an even green are the whole picture. There is a plain satisfaction in walking away from a yard that is watering itself right for the first time in years.
