Elationscapes

About Elationscapes

Creston rolls across the hills east of Atascadero in long, tawny swells, dotted with valley oaks and horse ranches and laced with quiet country roads. In late summer those hills take on the color of a lion's coat, and every oak stands in its own dark circle of shade. The name Elationscapes promises a lift of the heart, and in country this open a well-shaped yard delivers one. The work follows the Central Coast's rhythm: green held carefully through the rainless months, plantings at home beside the oaks, borders kept firm against the wild grass. At golden hour, when the light comes in sideways over the ridges, a tended yard here looks as if it grew out of the land itself.
