Your Local Mow Man

About Your Local Mow Man

Saturday morning in Crescent City sounds like gulls over Beachfront Park and, a few streets in, a mower pulling to life. Your Local Mow Man is that second sound — the neighborhood's own, working block by block through lawns that grow thick and stubborn on ocean air. Keeping coastal grass in line is a weekly conversation, not a one-time fix, and he keeps up his end of it: clean cut, edged walk, clippings gone, gate latched. There is no mystery in the name and no distance in the service. One town, known street by street, kept a little brighter by its yards.
