Calidad Landscapes

About Calidad Landscapes

For a few weeks in late spring the jacarandas let go all at once and half of Covina's streets turn purple underfoot. Calidad Landscapes works through that sweet mess and every other kind, mowing, trimming the shrubs back to a shape that holds, hauling the season's fall of blossom and leaf off the grass before it mats. Irrigation gets a look as well, since one head knocked sideways will burn a stripe across the lawn by August. The aim is a green that stays even the whole way across, corner to corner, with no apology in the middle. Covina and the towns pressed up against it all get the same attention.
