About Ecosystem Landscaping & Design

Down the Silver Strand, the line where dune sand gives way to garden is thin, and making a landscape thrive there takes design as much as labor. Ecosystem Landscaping & Design approaches Coronado yards as small living systems — plantings chosen for salt air and sandy soil, layouts that let a compact island lot feel layered and full, and the maintenance that keeps the whole composition in tune. The design work sets the frame; the ongoing care of lawns, beds, and borders keeps it honest. There is a special pleasure in a garden that looks like it grew up naturally beside the ocean, even though every line of it was considered. Between the bay and the breakers, that considered wildness is the aim.
